Gotta Love Lefties

If he keeps pulling off his left sock
does that mean he's left-handed?

wishful thinking...

Yeah, I had no idea you were such a big fan either! Do you really want him to have to have special scissors? He may be SOL on arts and crafts day in Kindergarten!

I am a lefty and while it is fun to have people think it is cool that you are left handed - it really isn't that exciting. But here's to hoping. I am pretty sure that Emers is a righty.

Never mind guys, I take it back. I always thought lefties were something special, so I looked for studies online to prove it and this is what I found. Theres TONS of that stuff out there. I'm so deflated.

Probably a load of hooey. Ever take a statistics class? It's pretty easy to skew things towards what you're looking for. And I don't think things are valid until way more than one clinical trial has been done on it. That being said, all the leftie guys I know are strapping, manly-men with happy normal gender identities.

This will proabbly only matter if he becomes a pitcher. I think that Becca and I should be bumped up to "When we feel like it" blogging status.

No......it does NOT mean he is a 'lefty'. I only means he has a hard time getting his diaper off so he takes the next easiest thing off. :) He will master getting the diaper off and THAT is when you should worry.

What a blessed day indeed, to discover you have a lefthanded child! What better sign of intelligence and physical mastery exists? I know of none.

That was my comment, BTW!

Missy, I just read you're so called "research"...left handed boys are more likely to be gay because they are more creative and because there are never any left handed baseball mitts in gym class. Duh! It's not anything physiological! You and your "science"! You crack me up!
