"At Last, a Tween Movie With Teeth"

It's about time I said something on here about Twilight (loved it).
I enjoyed this equation/"explanation of Twilight" courtesy of this week's Newsweek:

Start with the achingly pretty,
irresistibly sexy Brad Pitt from
the 1994 movie
"Interview With a Vampire."

+

Add Leo DiCaprio and Claire Danes
in Romeo & Juliet," in which the
young paramours know that their star-
crossed love is dangerous.

x

Multiply by "High School Musical,"
not for the singing and dancing
but for its utterly chaste take
on adolescence.

=

And there you have "Twilight,"
the most wholesome,
bloodless vampire story this
side of the Count on
"Sesame Street."

She's a total-geekian actually.

Edward, all the way. I have a soft spot for guys that never sleep and look at me like a piece of delicious meat.

There is something attractive about that, isn't there? ;-)

The Edward in the movie didn't quite live up to the Edward in my mind. Also, what was up with the wierd tree climbing special effects? Very distracting.

I didn't see the movie, I was concerned that it wouldn't match up to my imagination. I guess I will wait until it comes out on DVD
